Pianist Robert Taub performs a solo program on Thursday, March 12 at the Tlaqna Cultural Center at the Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa. The program includes works by Beethoven, Scriabn, Chopin, Schoenberg and Babbitt.
Taub is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Princeton University, where he was a University Scholar. He completed his doctoral degree at the Juilliard School as a Danforth Fellow. Studying under principal teacher Jacob Lateiner, Taub received the school’s highest award in piano.
