RSF commissioned Giacomo Manzoni and presented his new work with two new works by his students Peyman Farzinpour and Daniele Venturi.

Manzoni is a vintage Italian modernist. He is perhaps best known for the film score he created for Werner Schroeter’s film Malina, based on the novel by Ingebourg Bachmann’s 1971 novel.

Also on the program: John McLachlan’s YouTunes, for 4 electric guitars, and Georg Friedrich Haas’ guitar quartet.
